Please note that at the moment, we do not offer couple therapy at our Clinic. We offer help to individuals who want to improved how they relate to others.
Some individuals experience difficulty relating to others.
“Others” can be a romantic partner, but also friends, family, colleagues or superiors.
This can take the form of poor communication skills, difficulty handling conflicts, or fear of intimacy and/or commitment.
At times, people will notice unhealthy patterns in their intimate relationships, such as selecting abusive partners, losing interest in each new partner after 3 months, etc.
Cognitive-Behavior Therapy can help uncover the cognitive schemas that maintain unhealthy patterns in relationships.
It can also teach one to be able to better identify and communicate their needs to others, and to better handle conflict and face their fears.
